Table, toaster, burnt toast, displayed lettering
Set up in a gallery space with a window facing the street is a small table with a pile of burnt slices of toast. The displayed lettering which reads “Tracy is having a great day decorating the house and making it homey“ is taken from the letter of a distant American acquaintance, sent to Andrea Loux as part of a so-called ”family rundown“.

Clothes rack, labeled coat hanger, 1 pair of stocking with garter belts, fan
In a small gallery space with a window facing the street hangs a pair of stockings with garter belts, suspended from a coat hanger carrying the printed label of a firm and the slogan ”With All The Best Qualities”. A fan positioned underneath makes the stockings perform an ongoing, foot-jingling dance.
